Events

All students at the Mid Maryland Performing Arts Center are encouraged to perform. The school provides many opportunities for its dancers and actors to share their love of dancing and acting with the public. Some of the performance opportunities available to MMPAC students are local community service events and some are full scale stage productions at home as well as out of state and beyond.

Each season is unique in theme and concept. The school and its students have celebrated history, art and cultural diversity through performance. Students participate in a fall concert, MMPAC CARES TO DANCE, which raises money for different charitable organizations. Nursing Homes and Retirement Communities welcome them seasonally to entertain residents and their families. It is always a rewarding event for the students.

Additionally, there are in house showcases and cabarets as well as participation in regional theater and dance festivals.

MMPAC hosts an annual performance on the Weinberg Center stage in May. This show is always the highlight of the year.
