Emma Maurer

Since 2022

Emma Maurer began her dance training in ballet at the Chambersburg Ballet Theater School in Pennsylvania and then later continued at The City Ballet School in Western Maryland. In high school, Emma attended Mercersburg Academy where she studied ballet, modern, dance composition, jazz, tap, pointe, aerial dance, and swing dance.

She received her BFA in dance from DeSales University where she took classes from Trinette Singleton, Julia Mayo, Angela Grossman, E’lise Jumes, Tim Cowart, Caili Quan, Milan Misko, Lara Friedman-Kats, Rebecca Moyer. While there she performed works by Paul Taylor, Martha Graham, Caili Quan, Angela Sigley Grossman, Caroline Fermin, and E’lise Jumes. Emma also choreographed numerous works while at DeSales University for their Emerging Choreographers Concert.

This is her first season at MMPAC!
